Men willing to make sacrifices...
As usual, all roads lead to Abong Abong, Pasonanca. Everyone always take the extra effort to spare even 5 hours off to hike up the famous Abong Abong Hills to attend the Way of the Cross. Every station of the cross takes you higher up. But the hike up is all worth it once you finished all 14 stations because the sight is breath-taking and the air is way fresher above. You can see the whole Zamboanga City and it's exquisite bounties... Some even attempt to defy death and gravity just to touch the image Our Virgin Mother Mary way above the steepest part of the Abong Abong Mountain.
Too bad, it rained and the road got really slippery. I would have loved to stay longer, take more pictures but i had to think of the welfare of my little girl who tagged along for the first time in her longest hike up ever...
